The Senior Art Director/Designer will be responsible for orchestrating a wide range of creative initiatives for clients, from concept development to client presentations to production. Key Responsibilities
Stewardship of Creative Excellence
The Senior Art Director/Designer will have direct oversight of all creative output for clients, including critiquing and refining works conceived by the in-house creatives and freelancers. They will collaborate closely with the Executive Creative Director to ensure the delivery of awesome creative solutions that meet clients’ needs.
Team & Client Relationships
In collaboration with the Account Executive(s), the Senior Art Director/Designer will allocate creative resources for designated projects and engage directly with clients to unlock insights, articulate compelling concepts, and lead the creative direction for the team’s clients. Building strong relationships with both the internal creative team and clients is essential in this role.
Leadership
As a leader within the creative department, the Senior Art Director/Designer will be responsible for guiding the creative development for the clients their team manages. They will regularly communicate with the Account Executive to ensure client requirements, timelines, and overall progress are on track.
Concepts!
Ideas drive the work at FMS. The Senior Art Director/Designer will play a key role in driving conceptual development, collaborating with the team to ensure innovation and originality. They will need to craft and present visual work with strong conceptual thinking and strategic rationale.
Identity
The Senior Art Director/Designer will be tasked with creating boundary-pushing identity systems and brand applications across various mediums, including digital, print, environmental, packaging, and experiential. They will often lead these projects and be responsible for executing the design deliverables, including art direction of other designers.
Brand Guidelines
Understanding and executing usable brand guidelines for clients is essential in this role. The Senior Art Director/Designer will need to ensure consistency and coherence in brand expression across different touchpoints.
Design
The Senior Art Director/Designer will have the opportunity to expand their design skills across a wide range of aesthetic styles. Mastery over the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and XD, is a must.

Working Hours & Travel
While the essence of this role gravitates towards an in-office presence to facilitate spontaneous creative magic, FMS embraces flexibility. Both scheduled and unscheduled remote work periods are welcomed. The Senior Art Director/Designer should expect to travel 6-8 times a year for various reasons, including onboarding new clients and overseeing video shoots.
