Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Practice Builder with 12+ years of experience to join Kimley-Horn of DC! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
The qualified individual will lead and expand a MEP team and practice while building and managing relationships with key clients.
Requires the ability to oversee the HVAC design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.
Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities
Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
Qualifications
12+ years of related experience
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers, and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
Experience in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
