Multimedia Specialist – Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support USAID initiatives by developing compelling visuals for websites, newsletters, and other digital platforms. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and a strong ability to translate complex ideas into engaging graphics that align with USAID’s branding and communication goals. Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM EST

• Collaborate with program staff and stakeholders to conceptualize and create graphics for digital communications, including websites, newsletters, and presentations.
• Design and develop visual content using tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Canva.
• Ensure all designs align with USAID’s branding guidelines and support its communication objectives.
• Revise designs based on feedback while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on graphic design trends and integrate best practices into projects.
• Support other design needs, such as infographics, social media visuals, and marketing materials.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• The ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• At least 2-4 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Canva.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Desired:

• Familiarity with USAID branding and communications guidelines.
• Experience designing visuals for international development or government agencies.
• Skills in motion graphics or video editing are a plus.

$ 35.00 - $ 41.00 /Hr.
