Job Description

Northeastern University in Boston, MA is seeking a Professor of Building Technology, Climate, Sustainability, and Health in the Built Environment for open-rank, tenured or tenure-track positions. These positions offer the opportunity for a joint appointment in the College of Engineering.

The ideal candidates will have a record of professional practice or industrial engagement and their research and teaching should align with the themes of impact of changing climatological conditions on the built environment, urban planning and landscape architecture scales of resilience, climate responsive and regenerative architecture, and integration of life cycle, embodied energy, and embodied carbon analyses into design processes. Additionally, we are interested in candidates with expertise in advanced material and fabrication research as well as innovative energy and environmental systems for health and wellbeing.

The School of Architecture at Northeastern University offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
