Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex AI-powered technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the tech industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project objectives are met and that our solutions exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously from initiation to closure.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and the critical path.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Salary Range

$91,000 - $158,000

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in the tech industry, with at least 3 years managing complex projects.
  • Proven experience in delivering AI-powered or software technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., SharePoint, Jira, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience working with clients in higher education, public sector, non-profits, or large enterprises is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed to represent Canyon GBS in the public eye globally with customers, partners, investors, and the community.
