Responsibilities:
We seek a social media manager who is interested in engaging with our audience and developing a relatable voice for the organization. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited to flex their creativity to help us build community while staying on top of the latest trends in technology.
- Work with marketing team to oversee our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter pages.
- Edit content and create social teasers, music, graphics, and effects
- Design posts that align with chapter marketing goals.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for search and user experience for all content channels, including social media, mobile, video, especially short-form content
- Optimize our channels to get the most engagement out of our follower base
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and experiment with new features
- Respond to inbound social media traffic
- Review reports with social analytics and trends to track growth
- Report on online reviews and feedback
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Asana for project management
Experience with Canva Premium and Photoshop
Experience in other volunteer and non-profit organizations
Creative thinking
Reliability
Ability to dedicate 1-2 hours per week to volunteer work
