The Oracle Local Government Global Industry Unit is in the process of designing & developing a suite of SaaS applications for the state & local government markets using cutting edge technologies. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives.
Who You Are:
The Project Manager role is a challenging, exciting opportunity for you to manage full lifecycle Cloud Implementations for our growing business unit. In this role you will manage multiple cloud projects and be responsible for the successful delivery of those projects. You will work with leaders in the Oracle State & Local Business Unit, Product, Development and Support organizations to focus on delivering a world-class implementation of Oracle software and products.
You will demonstrate your ability to follow project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders and customers. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to State & Local Public Administration systems a plus. An ideal candidate will have an innate ability to simplify complex technology concepts and to plan, prioritize and seamlessly integrate all moving parts to deploy successful solutions.

ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do:
- Lead a project team in delivering Oracle Local Government SaaS solutions to the customer
- Develop trusted relationships with customers, set expectations, provide meaningful and timely communication, and deliver on promises and commitments
- Methodically manage complex business and logistical challenges
- Provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer
- Exercise creativity, independent judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques
- Exhibit strong executive presence and ability to interact with key project sponsors
- Adopt and apply the Oracle True Cloud Method to State & Local implementations
What you've done:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 8 years) work experience
- 8+ years of managing complex cloud and SaaS projects to successful delivery
- Proven self-starter that proactively develops working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Experienced with gap analysis, risk mitigation, issue documentation, tracking and prioritization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Shown comfort working in rapid paced environments with evolving expectations and priorities.
- Able to travel up to 25% of the time depending on need
It would be awesome if you also had:
- PMP Methodology certification
- Scrum Master certification
- Knowledge/familiarity with Oracle products and services such as NetSuite, and including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience in the public administration and municipal systems space (finance, payroll, bookkeeping, municipal tax administration, etc.)

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
