Description

Our boutique event management and strategic communications firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Market Research Assistant to support our growth efforts. The Market Research Assistant will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing new business leads to drive our organization's growth and success. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on government contract opportunities, market trends, and competitor intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct comprehensive research on government contract opportunities using tools and databases like Federal Procurement Data System. USA Spending, and other relevant platforms.

· Monitor the competitive landscape, including competitor strategies, capabilities, and market positioning, to inform strategic decision-making and proposal development efforts.

· Collaborate with the business development team to refine targeted lead generation strategies, leveraging research insights to inform decision-making.

· Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefings on research findings, contract opportunities, and market intelligence to support business development efforts.

· Support proposal development efforts by gathering and synthesizing data, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the solicitation requirements.

· Continuously refine and improve research methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance the accuracy and relevance of research findings.

· Manage and maintain accuracy of HubSpot database pipeline and opportunities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree. 

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal government contract research, preferably with a federal government contractor.

· Awareness of federal government procurement processes, regulations, and procedures, including FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations.

· Experience using various research tools and databases, such as SAM.gov, FPDS, and other relevant platforms.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex information from various sources and make data-driven decisions.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and CRM systems.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Salary Description

$26-$36 per hour (Based on experience)
