Central Florida’s Behavioral Health Network, Inc. (CFBHN) is one of the leading behavioral health managing entities in the state of Florida, covering 14 counties.  Contracted with the Department of Children and Family, we provide oversite to providers in central Florida who serve in the mental health and substance abuse field in all types of settings, including school and community settings.  We have been in business for more than 25 years, are well respected in the field, and are located in a convenient location near Brandon just off the Selman Expressway, not far from downtown!

 

The Clinical Behavioral Health Project Manager of Pasco School Project assures the assigned program(s) are implemented and managed in accordance with the contractual requirements.  In this role you will be the CFBHN liaison between ME, Pasco County School Board and contracted service provider(s); assure programmatic outcomes are being met; create and disseminate required programmatic reports; provide program technical assistance and training; and develop a detailed description of services and processes for your program area.  We are looking for a licensed professional with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy; at least five years of behavioral health program management experience; strong program management skills, and experience in school based social services.  We are looking for an excellent communicator with above average written and verbal communication skills.  We want someone who can represent CFBHN well in the community and manage multiple priorities at the same time.  Please review the specific qualifications below.

Responsibilities:

  • CFBHN liaison between ME, Pasco County School Board, and contracted service provider(s).
    • Ensure effective communication/ collaboration between Pasco County School Board and community partners e.g. treatment and social service agencies.
    • Acts as program integrator between disparate elements. Assists funders (e.g. school board) to streamline related programs and elements funded by same including any additional funds or grants that may be identified.
    • Provide ME support and development to Youth-At-Risk committee.
    • Consult with school district mental health team to determine appropriateness of referrals.
  • Assure programmatic outcomes are being met; create and disseminate required programmatic reports to funders, providers and CFBHN management.
    • Work collaboratively with internal CFBHN departments; IT, Contracts, QI to report required data and refine data as necessary, monthly.
    • Understand deliverables and provide feedback on how programs can improve or maintain performance
    • Able to develop, run, and analyze reports/trends regarding programs, special projects, and other areas as assigned.
  • Assure compliance with contractual requirements, managing entity accreditation requirements, annual audit requirements and laws, regulations and rules that govern the provision of behavioral health services.
    • Understand the various funding sources available to children, adults, and families and the appropriate systems and methods of care coordination.
  • Collaborate with community managers as well as community alliances, councils, and other workgroups to identify community priorities for this target population.
  • Provide programmatic technical assistance and training, both internal and external
  • Develop a detailed description of services and processes for your program area and update as necessary
  • Other duties, as assigned

 

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • LMFT, LMHC or LSCW required
  • Minimum of five years of behavioral health program management experience.
  • Experience in school based social services a plus

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of Florida public mental health/substance abuse system, including treatment protocols and system of care principles and values, to assure contractual compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of funder contractual requirements
  • Solid working relationship with funders, providers and community stakeholders.

 

General

  • Above-average oral communication and business writing skills
  • Ability to represent CFBHN professionally at funder, provider and community venues
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite as applicable to the position
  • Ability to travel as required by the position
  • This position requires working onsite 4 days per week in the district office and one (1) day per week remote.
