Job Description

Vera Iconica Architecture is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join their team. This position requires a minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in luxury single-family residential and hospitality interiors. The ideal candidate will possess a sophisticated design aesthetic, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong initiative, and high energy.

Requirements for the position

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in luxury single-family residential and/or hospitality interior design, architectural interiors, and/or procurement. A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related program is preferred.

Responsibilities and duties

The Interior Designer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Creating material palettes, elevations, floor plans, schedules, and renderings
  • Managing and overseeing specifications, shop drawings, custom built-ins, installation, and interior styling
  • Coordinating and managing FF&E procurement
  • Delivering client and team presentations
  • Providing creative direction and creating Interior Design standards collaborating with the Director of Interiors

This position is available in either Jackson, WY or Denver, CO.

Your Day at Vera Iconica

  • Creating material palettes, elevations, floor plans, schedules, and renderings. This will involve using software such as InDesign and Photoshop to bring your designs to life.
  • Managing and overseeing specifications, shop drawings, custom built-ins, installation, and interior styling. This will require attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standard.
  • Coordinating and managing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) procurement. This will involve working closely with vendors and suppliers to source the necessary items for each project.
  • Delivering client and team presentations. This will require strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey your design ideas and concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Providing creative direction and creating Interior Design standards collaborating with the Director of Interiors. This will involve working closely with the Director of Interiors to develop and maintain a consistent design aesthetic for the company.
  • Utilizing hardware and software such as Mac Laptop, iPAD, Apple Office Suite, CORE Project Management, and Adobe Creative Suite to complete your daily tasks.
