Job Description

Rago/Wright is currently searching for a full-time senior graphic designer to join their in-house creative team. This individual will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the photographers, editors, and founders at Rago/Wright to bring the unique stories of the items they bring to market to life. The senior graphic designer will play a key role in strategizing visual directions for auctions and collections, as well as collaborating on new digital technology for the company’s websites. Additionally, they will work closely with the creative director to ensure brand standards are upheld across all collateral. The senior graphic designer will also have the chance to produce award-winning books and catalogs, and provide ongoing support to all locations through various marketing materials such as proposals, social media creative, branded collateral, video promotion, email marketing, and advertising.

Qualifications

Candidates for the senior graphic designer role should have 5-10 years of experience working in a professional design studio or agency. A minimum of an associate’s degree in design or visual arts is required. Solid experience with current digital technology, including design for web, responsive design, and mobile design, is necessary. Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a must. Experience with Figma, After Effects, Adobe XD, Final Cut Pro, video/animation software, Mailchimp templates/basic HTML, and translating design strategy to social media for organic content are also desired qualifications. Experience working within Luxury E-commerce, Arts and Media Institutions, or Technology brands is considered a bonus.

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid position based in Rago/Wright’s West Town Chicago offices. Candidates must be willing to work in-office at Wright a minimum of two days a week.
