Job Description
As a Pick/Pack/Ship employee, your main responsibilities will include the accurate and timely preparation, packing, and shipment of customer and sample orders. You will be expected to assemble and pack small and repetitive customer orders according to the instructions and directions provided by the Group Leader and accompanying documents. Additionally, you will be responsible for moving stock to designated holding, storage, or shipping areas, completing accurate paperwork and inventory transactions, operating stretch wrapping machines and pallet jacks/motorized lifts as necessary, recording and sorting returned or damaged components and merchandise, restocking supplies at work or packing stations, maintaining organization and upkeep of the work area, assisting with physical inventory and cycle counting, and carrying out miscellaneous duties as assigned by Group Leads.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must be organized and able to carry out oral and written instructions with minimal supervision. Being quality conscious is also important in order to ensure that customer orders are prepared accurately. Additionally, candidates must have legible reading and writing skills and be able to complete accurate mathematical calculations using a calculator. The ability to lift cartons on and off pallets and carry out repetitive light to medium lifting is required, with occasional team lifting of up to 75 lbs. Candidates must also be capable of standing and/or walking for extended periods of time and be able to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments.
Requirements
