Position Overview: 

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Web Project Manager to lead and oversee a range of website development and redesign projects. This role involves managing multiple web projects simultaneously, ensuring that all phases—from content development to design, development, and launch—are completed efficiently and effectively. The Web Project Manager will work closely with internal clients, external contractors, and team members across content, design, and development to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll be joining a collaborative, mission-driven team focused on delivering high-quality web solutions that align with the organization’s goals. This is a remote position, with flexibility to work from the office or choose a hybrid model.  This role is 75% FTE.

Core Focus Areas

 Project Management:

  • Lead and manage a variety of website development projects from inception and intake to launch, ensuring timelines, scope, and budget are maintained.
  • Oversee the progress of content creation, design, and development, ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones.
  • Coordinate and run regular project and cross-project meetings to track progress, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of all project components.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with clients, content teams, designers, developers, and external contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Facilitate project kick-off, review, and status meetings, keeping all parties informed about project progress and changes.

Resource Coordination:

  • Allocate and manage resources across multiple projects, ensuring the right team members are assigned based on skills and availability.
  • Maintain project schedules and adjust resource planning as needed to accommodate evolving project requirements.

Quality Control & Process Improvement:

  • Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle, including consistent proofing, design approvals, and development testing.
  • Continuously assess project workflows and make recommendations for improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Project Reporting & Documentation:

  • Track and report on project status, progress, and risks, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, resource plans, budgets, and key decisions.

Client Relations & Support:

  • Respond to client requests for new projects, modifications, and other web-related needs, providing timely and professional support.
  • Prepare project proposals, including timelines, cost estimates, and resource requirements.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

The full salary range for this position, WestEd level 10, is $90,000 to $135,000 but WestEd does not typically hire at or near the top of the salary range. The typical hiring range for this role is $90,000 to $112,500. The actual offer takes into account multiple factors including but not limited to education; experience; internal equity, and other organizational needs. 

In addition to the base salary, benefits include:  

  • 15% contribution toward retirement effective day 1 of employment
