About Our Opportunity:As a Sr. Software Developer on our Healthcare Bluebook team here at Valenz, you’ll develop new applications and associated features, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure our products meet both technical and business goals. In an agile environment utilizing your expertise in .NET applications, you’ll build and support our products alongside an experienced web development team.Things You’ll Do Here:
- Build and optimize web applications and services using C#.NET to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Work closely with project managers, IT leadership, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions that align with business goals.
- Implement end-to-end solutions, managing both front-end and back-end services, ensuring seamless integration.
- Drive discussions around system design, contributing to the architecture of scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Address urgent customer problems and adapt priorities quickly to provide timely resolutions, ensuring minimal impact on users.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring other team members to uphold coding standards and efficiency.
- Leverage Azure (or similar cloud platforms) to design, deploy, and manage scalable applications, optimizing for performance and security.
- Actively contribute to the team’s agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Continuously research new technologies and tools, ensuring that best practices are integrated into development workflows and future projects.
- Adjust technical communication based on the audience, ensuring that both technical and non-technical stakeholders understand the project’s progress and requirements.

- 7+ years of web development experience developing production applications, primarily with C#.NET in a SaaS or similar environment.
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud, including managing deployments and scalable services.
- 5+ years of experience developing MVC applications with strong front-end skills in frameworks like Vue.js, Angular, or React.
- Expertise in relational databases (SQL Server, T-SQL) and working with large datasets using frameworks like Entity Framework and LINQ.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
- Strong knowledge of Git and source control best practices, ensuring collaborative and efficient development workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to mentor developers and effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A plus if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
- Knowledge of designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Experience working with large-scale data tools like Databricks or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Experience mentoring developers or leading small development teams.
