POSITION TITLE: Project Manager

 

REPORTS TO: Lead Project Manager

As a Project Manager on the Industrial Crane team, you will coordinate the completion of projects within the established budget, scope and timeframe that results in a successful project and satisfied customer. The most important aspect of this position is the ability to coordinate and communicate project requirements and status updates to customers and team members. You will be the primary contact for all customer interactions, which means that you will engage and coordinate all resources and technical experts required for each unique project.

You will report to the Senior Project Manager assigned in the region.

 

You Will:

  •  Coordinate and host Internal and External Kick-off Meetings for all projects
  •  Review and manage projects according to budget and technical requirements
  •  Organize and Coordinate all site deliverables and services
  • Requisition all required materials for site activities
  •  Coordinate approval drawing flow between the customer and engineering
  •  Identify changes in project scope and manage change orders
  • Support installation and commissioning activities
  • Prepare project closing reports 

 

You Have:

  • Ability to Travel 25%
  •  3+ years managing or coordinating projects in an industrial or construction setting
  •  Post secondary degree, PMP certification or relevant industry experience

The experience of our customers throughout the entire order execution phase is a great competitive advantage. The Project Management team can affect this experience through the way that projects are managed throughout the entire customer purchasing experience. As a Project Manager, you will be in a key position to directly provide an industry-leading experience to our customers.

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is preferred and/or equivalent experience.  PME or similar certification preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five years of technical project management for electrical and mechanical design, procurement management and support of field installations. A qualified candidate should be able to process technical information and provide technical instructions to an acceptable level. Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office. Verbal and literary communication plays a key role in this position. Must have the aptitude to learn at fast pace. Must be willing and able to work off the ground at heights. Must show ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be able to travel up to 25%. Prefer candidates who live in CST.
