IT Project Manager - Secret Clearance (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration projects. The ideal candidate will possess a PMP certification and a Secret Clearance, demonstrating expertise in project management principles, methodologies, and security protocols. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of OCI cloud migrations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage OCI cloud migration projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational objectives.
• Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, resources, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and clients, to provide updates and gather requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Track project progress against established benchmarks, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and lessons learned.
• Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with security protocols and best practices associated with handling classified information and working in a cloud environment.
• Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on cloud migration projects, preferably in OCI or similar environments.
• Certifications: PMP certification required. Additional certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., OCI Architect, AWS, Azure) are advantageous.
• Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required; must maintain compliance with all clearance requirements.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies, architectures, and best practices, particularly related to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Procas software; experience with [additional accounting software, if applicable].
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.

$165,000 - $225,000 a year
