The Opportunity:

CACI’s Agile Digital Solutions Operating Group is searching for individuals to lead application development and support for NASA's enterprise business systems. Selected candidates will deliver and sustain capabilities in a fast-paced SAFe agile development environment. CACI is hiring Cybersecurity Engineers who can deliver expert-level information 

Responsibilities:

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be part of a team delivering: 

  • Identify and report security violations.  
  • Satisfy Cybersecurity requirements based upon the analysis of CSPP, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.   
  • Analyze and makes recommendations of security requirements for computer systems which may include mainframes, workstations, and personal computers.   
  • Apply know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.   
  • Supports design and development of security features for system architecture requirements.    
  • Ensure that all information systems are functional and secure. 
  • Analyze general Cybersecurity-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.   
  • Supports vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.   
  • Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems data assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access, theft, or destruction.   
  • Ensure cyber monitoring is performed timely and cyber responses occur within established processes/procedures  

 

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen 
  • Active Public Trust clearance with ability to obtain higher level clearance if needed 
  • College degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related applicable experience considered in lieu of degree 
  • At least 2-3 years of prior experience in cyber and IA security activities on a large, complex program (Junior Engineers must have at least 2 years of prior experience, while Intermediate-level requires 3 years or more)
  • Proven ability in planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures to protect computer networks and information.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

 

Desired: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management Systems, or related field, or higher education preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting NASA programs.
    CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater) 
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs 
  • Experience with DoD IT security requirements 
  • Experience with SecDevOps and Agile processes and/or tools
