Our Consulting | Professional Services Product Implementation team has an opening for a  Project Management professional who has a broad understanding of solutions and industry best practices in the utilities industry. This first-level project management position provides consistent creative and high quality solution leadership.  Employs independent judgment in guiding moderately complex activities involved in the successful implementation of an integrated business solution, ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer’s satisfaction.  Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge.  Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. 


As a Project Manager, you will assist project teams with various aspects of their roles. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations.  Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions.  Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Ability to travel as required with an average of 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • 6-10 years of consulting Project Management experience including 5+ years of full lifecycle software project management experience

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • A strong background in Project Management, including experience developing work-breakdown structures and project plans, most notably in Microsoft Project or Primavera.

  • Excellent client management skills and the ability to work with customers to develop and manage an implementation plan.

  • Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable world class software solution.

  • Exceptional escalation management skills.

  • Experience developing cost estimates for Professional Services efforts, as well as presenting value propositions

  • Must have managed project budgets in excess of $5 Million Dollars

  • Agile Methodology experience

  • Experience creating and presenting SOW for new and existing customers

  • Excellent customer relationship acumen, including comfort interacting at the “C” level

  • Experience successfully delivering online / virtual presentations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B, MDM or C2M system implementations or complex billing systems is a strong plus.

  • Consulting and project management experience in a SaaS environment is a plus

  • PMP or other Project Management certifications is a plus

  • Six Sigma certification is a plus
