Advertising & Public Relations Program
The Advertising & Public Relations program at the University of Tampa offers three concentrations: Advertising Creative, Public Relations, and General. Students in these concentrations receive education in theory and practice through the program’s advanced digital facilities. The program also emphasizes advanced problem-solving and the exploration of ethics in the field, as well as engagement with local, national, and international networks.
Department of Communication
The Department of Communication at the University of Tampa has approximately 800 students across four majors: Advertising & Public Relations (ADPR), Communication Media Studies (CMS), Journalism (JOU), and Speech and Communication Studies (CSS). The department also participates in delivering two interdisciplinary M.A. programs: the M.A. in Professional Communication (MAPC) and the M.A. in Social and Emerging Media (MASEM).
